NZ FIRST WANTS DOCTORS SUED

Doctors will get sued, students will get paid and criminals will get nothing if New Zealand First's changes to the ACC bill are accepted.

New Zealand First is proposing five changes to the prevention and rehabilitation bill currently being debated in parliament under urgency. Those changes include students getting compensated for future earnings if injured while working in a part time job; patients being allowed to sue doctors for medical misadventure; creating the role of an ACC Commissioner to oversee complaints from employees and claimants; and prohibiting claims from people injured while committing a crime.
