New Zealand lovers are among the most sexually active in the world leaving the Australians trailing behind, the Durex world sex survey has revealed.
The 2001 Durex Global Sex Survey, carried out in 28 countries worldwide, found that Kiwis make love an average of 115 times a year. Australians in comparison are 84 times.
Kiwis have increased from 86 times last year, and are well above the global average of 97 times a year.
On a serious note, more than half the country's adults who took part in the survey (53%) admit they are concerned about contracting HIV/AIDS or other STIs. Despite this 32% are not taking measures to protect themselves.
